La Goulue with her Griffons

The Queen of Montmartre.

literarydogs:

Famous in her young days as a performer in Le Moulin Rouge, here is La Goulue, ancient, lonely and living in poverty. Is a rare photograph of La Goulue later in life, alchoholic and distitute, 1920.
